C & C update

Hi team,

Just a brief post to give you a quick update to what’s happening with C & C.

This month’s C & C is still going ahead with Karen teaching us how to save babies. Unfortunately, Shane and Rowan is now on the preceptor course so their case presentations are cancelled. However, I believe Karen’s subject is a big enough subject for one C & C anyway. I’ll also talk a little about how to post a blog page.

The Red Shift C & C:
Date: 8/Aug/16
Time: 1000~
Place: Wrights Rd Boardroom

As mentioned before, we will have multiple presenters allocated for each C & C as there will be things pop up and some presenters may not be able to make it on the day.
The presentation will be followed up by a blog post so people weren’t there can still get the info. Creating posts will require some work so I’ll be supporting whoever needing help. I don’t want the blog to be a burden and put people off for presenting cases so please let me help if you are not keen on posting blogs yourself. Saying that, it’s actually not that hard (I mean this old dude can do it!) so give it a go when you have time.

It is also a good idea if you can post pre-read if you want the session to focus on practice…. and that’s what I’ll be doing this month.
I have booked the SIM suite next month for us to go in as a group to practice airway and ventilation to the next level. To make the session mostly practical, I’ll be sending you pre-read materials so we can just practice practice practice on the day.

Please accept my apology in advance for the series of posts you’ll receive this month…

Hope to see many of you there : )

Crappy weather forecast…be careful out there!
